I have been looking forward to this event since I qas a small child travelling with my family and we stopped here and read the words about it. It was such a beautiful place!

My husband and i have visited it couple of times, each time it was raining hard and sky covered in clouds. As we approached it the clouds opened up like in a circle and the sun shown forth very beautiful. The 2nd time my husband mom was with and we told her about the clouds parting as we came up to it. Like the 1st time with his mom the clouds parted like the first time and sun shown forth . we all was amazed

Thank you for an excellent video. I've researched the scriptures and asked people with keys who would know about Adam-ondi-Ahman in my research and have come to exactly the same sense of understanding about the place and the events past and in the future that have and will take place there.
I've also visited the location twice and walked vast portions of the property... the two particular places that you showed in this lecture. Great spiritual promptings came to me while there.
Also, Spring Hill, that point there mentioned in the D&C, has some incredible history associated with it.
You've nailed the same understanding of this subject that I've gleaned in my years of curiosity and prompted need to know about this place. I plan to purchase your brochure and study it.

I'm wondering if the gathering at Adam Ondi Ahman coincides with the parable of The Ten Virgins? That it won't be the entire membership of the Church or just those with a church calling but those who have oil in their lamps, those who have been endowed in holy temples and are being true and faithful to those covenants and actively seeking to be members of the Church of the Firstborn. Couldn't this also be the quickening event where those persons who receive their next assignment are translated as described in D and C 78: 11-22.? There's been so much emphasis on having your temple recommend even with temples closed, to be "recommended to the Lord." That's my honest belief. Please correct me if I'm way off.

It is not unusual that many plain and precious truths have not only been taken from the Bible but also not taught to the members because someone thought it was more than the average member wants to deal with. I've followed my Lord Jesus since I was 13 and when I was 59 I joined His Church (Baptized in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea), but Scripture is clear that when Jesus Christ returns to Earth he will split the Mount of Olives from East to West first before going anywhere else.

Visited here with my family in 93 as a teen. I really didn't know as much as I do now, but even then it was plainly and immediately obvious it was a sacred place

We also need to remember that Christ will also appear in His Temple in Zion. This will be the Temple in Independence, Missouri. This appearance will also occurs prior to Christ coming in glory to all the world.

When we are called up Christ will make an appearance and that is Christians world wide and that'll be the thief in the night and then Christ will come back down angry for the war of Armageddon right? So where does Adamondi Ahman fit in? Has Armageddon changed to Adamondi Ahman?

Question, why so much focus on the doctrine according to Bruce R McConkie?

Are you up for some questions? Why was Adam commanded to construct the alter out of unhewn stone when in later dispensations the alter was constructed of hewn stone with specific dimensions? Are the righteous saints who are in attendance at the great sacrament meeting exempted from being counted by a child as delineated in Isaiah 10? While traveling through the mid west and east, my former in-laws visited Adam-ondi-Ahman and were surprised to see massive construction (the laying of a waste disposal system and water system). Can you confirm that this has transpired and Adam-ondi-Ahman has been prepared for the great meeting(s) to come?

I will be there and the nation shall bow in sequence for both Christianity and Islam will be united. The wicked shall be driven away and the revelation of scripture shall be seen and heard. 2024

This is an excellent presentation. My wife and I was able to visit Adam Ohndi Aman 6 yes ago, you can definitely feel the spirit there. I’ve noticed that over the last few years that some members feel we will be called to gather at places of safety before going to Missouri. What is your opinion of that?

This grand council of Priesthood will be composed, not only of those who are faithful who now dwell on this earth, but also of the prophets and apostles of old, who have had directing authority. Others may also be there, but if so they will be there by appointment, for this is to be an official council called to attend to the most momentous matters ‘ concerning the destiny of this earth.
When this gathering is held, the world will not know of it; the members of the Church at large will not know of it, yet it shall be preparatory to the coming in the clouds of glory of our Savior Jesus Christ as the Prophet Joseph Smith has said. The world cannot know of it. The Saints cannot know of it-except those who officially shall be called into this council-for it shall precede the coming of Jesus Christ as a thief in the night, unbeknown to all the world. P resident Smith. I don’t think ALL Saints will be at this meeting, as you suggest. Only those invited.

For the 10th Article of Faith, I wonder if you didn't touch on it because it wasn't your focus, but don't you think the "and" is really saying AND...like it's a separate thing that follows the gathering.
"We believe in the literal gathering of Israel AND in the restoration of the Ten Tribes..."
So, this is the 10 lost tribes coming forth from the north countries. That these people will come to Adam Ondi Ahman too? Then they will help build Zion. Let me know your thoughts.

I love the insight shared starting at timestamp 10:10 in this video. I had never considered that perspective. Makes a lot more sense, and it makes me want to be watching even more diligently so as not to miss out or fail to qualify for am invitation to the conference at Adam-ondi-Ahman. This is what the Bible means when it talks about the Lord coming to find his faithful servants diligently at work in his house, rather than slacking off and gossiping, contending, etc. (See Matthew 24:44-47.)

I have a question… we are told that all those faithful members would be there who have held callings. But there are also quotes from leaders in the church and prophets stating that “the members of the Church at large would not know” about Adam Ondi Ahman taking place. How do we know if we have missed it? It feels like lately that the “Arm of the Lord” is falling on the nations. And you did quote that the arm of the nations would fall on us after the meeting… But I haven’t been to Adam Ondi Ahman that I know of. How do I know I didn’t miss that boat?

I wonder if Adam-ondi-Ahman will be like to dedication of the Nauvoo temple when all worthy members attended to dedication. Our church building became an extension of the Nauvoo temple. Would the temples and church buildings around the world become an extension of this meeting with our Savior. Would we not be "there" as those of us where in Nauvoo. Has the Lord been preparing us with a type and shadow of this future event. How many chose to attend those temple dedications? What did you have to hold to enter the church building? Was the media there? No like the ten virgins some are preparing and some are not. Just a thought I've had through the years.

Bro. Pettit, what happens after Adam-ondi-Ahman? Do those people who go to the meeting just go home? How are people going to keep this secret? I’ve held callings that would need reporting, would I be considered to go? I have been thinking about this and wonder “am I ready to see the Savior? Adam? The other prophets?” I just don’t know if I’m worthy enough for something like that?

My son recently returned from a mission from Saõ Paulo, Brazil.🇧🇷 One of those he taught almost didn't get baptized because they didn't want to have to come to the United States when the Lord returns.
I was quite surprised that the investigator knew about this but is am now curious about not only those who live in the promised land (North and South America) but Europe, Asia, Africa, etc.
I don't know that this question has been answered and I do have faith that the Lord will provide a way, but I am curious if anything has been said about how a worldwide church would gather at Adam-ondi-Ahman?

Hmm, I'm LDS 100% and always interested to read and hear about our scripture.
I am deciding between the happy all-inclusive sacrament meeting POV you've represented here where all the saints are gathered as opposed to a more defined role of Adam-Ondi-Ahman where those with very specific responsibilities throughout man's time on earth, report to their savior on their work, and we watch.
To me, I see the point being that the leaders report on the work and of course, partake of the sacrament at this event.
Personally, I don't believe we will all be transported to be at Adam-Ondi-Ahman. We, the faithful, may be made aware of it through the spirit and as such *we may be there, in spirit.*
To quote something Paul said: "whether in the body or out of the body, I know not."
The logistics alone of what is being stated here are mind-blowing: If of the 16+ million members there are say 7 million active and righteous, for them to gather in one place is unprecedented on earth for there were only 2 million that Moses took out of Egypt.
I mean not to mock but umm, Is the church buying the porta-potties that are required for this event for we'd need around 1 million- can you imagine the crying room for this event as, well, who is going to baby sit the crying and urinating children during this sacred event?
I mean no contention in stating this view- I just don't want the saints in New Guinea, NZ or Iceland etc etc etc, buying mosquito repellent, preparing their cameras and spending what money they have on white shirts for a sacrament meeting they are to attend in Missouri.
Now, I could be wrong- the Lord could reveal portals tomorrow for he has the power to do such.
I don't doubt his ability to take us in the blink of an eye but, I'm just saying this gathering may not be what we imagine it to be from what has been revealed. I'm leaning more on the there in spirit perception.

You stated that is was the Savior who visited him. I had not heard that perspective before and wondered if that was your opinion or based on other church doctrine. Could you please elaborate?
